Winter just won’t seem to quit this year!

From obnoxiously frigid temperatures to snowstorms in April, it’s been quite the winter here in Eastern Connecticut! It’s safe to say we won’t be getting any more measurable snow but who knows; this is New England after all.

Winter Recap

The 2017-2018 heating season started off peacefully in December. With seasonable temps and no considerable snow, December was the calm before the 2018 storms. January’s long stretch of subzero temperatures resulted in customers consuming more oil at a quicker rate. Our drivers worked long hours in the cold and trudged through snow to make sure each and every customer received their delivery. February and March brought windstorms, snowstorms and numerous power outages. Our service technicians worked around the clock to make sure your heating units were back up and running once power was restored. They also gave some much needed TLC to units that were just plain tired from running non-stop to keep you warm on those chilly days. Through it all,  our office staff was there! They worked long hours, answering your phone calls and providing you with the family friendly customer service you expect from Ed’s!

On behalf of our drivers, technicians and office staff, we want to say thanks to our customers. We are so grateful for your continued loyalty and understanding through another crazy heating season.

Thank you for being understanding and gracious to our drivers who braved the cold to keep you warm; for clearing snow from your driveways and making sure paths were shoveled so deliveries could be made; for being patient as our service technicians worked tirelessly to thaw frozen pipes and get your furnaces running again. Wonderful customers like YOU are why love what we do.

THANK YOU!
